Welcome to Finca Brisa Encantada
Growing food with care in Northwest Puerto Rico.
We are a small farmette rooted in sustainability, biodiversity, and a deep respect for the land.
Our goal is simple—grow clean, nourishing food for ourselves and our community, while contributing to a more resilient local food system.

Why We Farm
Finca Brisa Encantada began with a passion for sustainability and food security.
Living in Puerto Rico, where an estimated 85–90% of food is imported, made us reflect more deeply on where our food comes from and how vulnerable that system can be.
Our focus is on growing clean, nourishing food—without harsh chemicals—and doing so in a way that supports the long-term health of the land.
There is a growing movement of people returning to agriculture and reconnecting with the land, and while we each come to it in our own way, we believe in contributing to a more resilient and locally rooted food system.
For us, it starts small—growing well, growing thoughtfully, and sharing what we can.

Our Orchard
At the heart of Finca Brisa Encantada is a diverse and growing orchard.
We currently care for over 20 avocado trees, with at least 8 different varieties—including Hass, Wilson, and Donnie, with more still being identified. Alongside them are banana, starfruit, citrus, and other fruiting trees.
Diversity is not an accident—it’s intentional.
Where conventional farming often relies on monocultures, we’re working toward a system that supports a wider range of plant, insect, and animal life. More diversity means stronger ecosystems, healthier soil, and more resilient food production.
Our Practices & Ethics
We follow agroecology and permaculture principles, guided by three core ethics:
Earth Care
We focus on building healthy soil, encouraging biodiversity, and working with the natural systems already in place.
People Care
We grow food to nourish ourselves and our community—prioritizing quality, transparency, and connection.
Fair Share
We believe in balance—producing responsibly, sharing knowledge, and contributing to a stronger local food network.
These principles shape everything we do, from how we grow to how we share what we produce.

What We Offer
Our products reflect the seasons and what the land provides.
- Small-batch jams and preserves
- Banana bread and baked goods
- Fresh farm products (including eggs)
- Hot sauces and pickled items
- Dip mixes (coming soon)
- Honey bee extraction
Everything is made in small batches with care, using ingredients we grow or thoughtfully source.
Community
We currently sell locally at farmers markets and believe strongly in supporting the local economy.
Finca Brisa Encantada is not just about what we grow—it’s about being part of a wider community. We aim to support other local entrepreneurs, collaborate when possible, and give back through volunteering and shared knowledge.
In the future, we hope to open the farm for tours and small workshops.
Learn With Us
As we grow, we’re also learning—and we believe that knowledge should be shared.
Through our blog, we’ll document what we’re doing, what’s working, and what we’re still figuring out—from growing techniques to food preservation.
Finca Brisa Encantada is a work in progress—just like the land we care for.
We’re building something slowly, intentionally, and with respect for what came before us.
Thank you for being part of it.
